Introduction Welcome to the Global Cricket website (the "Site"), operated by Global Cricket Connect (GCC), a non-profit association dedicated to promoting and improving cricket at the amateur level globally. By accessing or using our Site, participating in our events, or utilizing any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Site or participate in any of our activities.

1. Definition

Global Cricket: Refers to Global Cricket Connect (GCC), a non-profit organization aimed at fostering competitive and fair cricket at the amateur level.
User: Any individual accessing or interacting with the Site.
Player: Any amateur cricketer registered to play cricket tournaments or matches.
Organizer: Any entity or individual responsible for organizing cricket events under the Global Cricket
Captain: The leader of a cricket team, responsible for ensuring that their team adheres to all rules.

2. Eligibility to Participate By registering as a player, team, or organizer for any cricket event under the Global Cricket banner, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Player Registration: Players must have a valid CricHeroes profile with complete and accurate information, including a visible profile picture.
Player Age: The minimum age for player registration is 16, unless otherwise specified for specific youth events.
Identity Verification: All participants are required to submit proof of identification (e.g., Emirates ID). Any attempt to falsify identity or impersonate another player will result in immediate disqualification and potential lifetime bans.
Visitors and Residents: Only UAE residents with valid Emirates IDs can participate. Players on visit visas are not eligible to play.

3. Code of Conduct All users of Global Cricket’s Site and participants in our tournaments are expected to:

Respect the Spirit of Cricket: Uphold fair play, integrity, and sportsmanship on and off the field.
Behavior: Abusive language, physical altercations, or any form of unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Such behavior may result in penalties, suspension, or bans for individual players or teams.
Compliance with Rules: Players, captains, and teams must adhere to the official Global Cricket Rules and Guidelines, which align with ICC regulations, with specific amendments for amateur competitions.
Umpire Decisions: Decisions made by umpires and match officials are final. Any protest must be submitted through official channels as per our tournament rules.

4. Match and Tournament Rules

Format & Duration: All matches are governed by the match formats outlined in the Global Cricket Rulebook (T20, T25, etc.).
Scoring & Results: Scores will be tracked through the CricHeroes platform and recorded by official scorers. Disputes must be reported immediately after the match.
Rescheduling: In case of weather disturbances or other unavoidable circumstances, matches may be rescheduled as per the rules set forth by the organizing committee.
Injuries: Global Cricket will not be responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during the matches. Participants are expected to have their own health and medical insurance.

5. Liability Disclaimer

Event Liability: Global Cricket will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss of property, or damages incurred during tournaments or as a result of using the Site.
Personal Responsibility: Users and players assume full responsibility for their personal safety and the safety of their equipment.
No Guarantees: Global Cricket provides no guarantees of success, enjoyment, or satisfaction from participating in any of our events.

6. Website Use

Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for ensuring that all registration details and personal information you provide are accurate and up to date.
Intellectual Property: All content on this Site, including logos, trademarks, and information, is the intellectual property of Global Cricket. Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content without express written permission from Global Cricket.
Website Availability: Global Cricket reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without prior notice.
Third-Party Links: The Site may include links to third-party websites. Global Cricket is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

Data Usage: By using our Site and participating in tournaments, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Breach of Terms

Account Suspension: Any breach of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to misconduct, providing false information, or failing to comply with the rules of Global Cricket, may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
Disqualification: Disqualification from ongoing or future tournaments.
Legal Action: Legal action, if necessary, may be pursued for severe violations.

9. Changes to Terms Global Cricket reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Continued use of the Site or participation in any of our tournaments signifies your acceptance of any changes.
