What began 13 years ago with just four teams has today grown into a cricketing powerhouse with more than 70 teamscompeting across multiple divisions. Season 13’s launch proved once again that DSL is not just a league — it’s a community movement that unites people through cricket.
A Star-Studded Opening Night
The spotlight of the evening was on Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler and former captain, Waqar Younis, who attended as the chief guest. Waqar inspired the audience by sharing stories from his cricketing journey, speaking on resilience and discipline, and answering questions from eager fans. His words set the perfect tone for the weeks ahead.
